"Another great protein powder! I’ve always loved Sunwarrior, and I’ve tried a lot of protein powders, and always come back to enjoying yours the most. I get no bloat, I feel satiated, tastes great, low carb, I bake with it, blend it, make spreads for my bread with it! "This is a nice protein powder. It does taste like vanilla ice cream and blends well with fruit smoothies and oatmeal. For the next purchase I would like the bag version as it seems like a lot of plastic being used for the container. I am saving the container to repurpose it hopefully."

If you mix it with a juice or milk it is not chalky, but with water it can feel chalky when going down and may cause you to cough if you’re sensitive to the texture like me. Not an issue, only my observation—I’ll still use water if I don’t have anything else. :-) Oh, and there’s no weird type of sweetness that there are with other mixes that don’t use sugar."

"What a disappointment! Sun Warrior used to be my favorite. Now they're advertising 30g protein per serving for "active protein," designed to capture the protein-conscious consumer devoted to strength training. Only, they changed the number of scoops per serving from 1 (their other products for over 10 years) to 2 scoops. Sure, it makes 30g protein... if you want to consume protein stew. You also pay more for a product with a few "extras" in it that you then have to use up twice as fast if you want the protein load. I used to recommend this to all my menopause clients, but not any more."
